My name is Nico, and I am the initiator of the LK0NOD project (www.lk0nod.de). Our project is dedicated to the further development and testing of Packet Radio systems and modern digital communication – especially in the 11-meter band, where we are seeing a growing level of interest.
I would like to emphasize that LK0NOD is a non-commercial, purely private project. Since our launch about six months ago, we have already been able to bring many radio enthusiasts back into Packet Radio. The community continues to grow steadily – whether through Facebook, X (Twitter), our homepage, or direct contact via e-mail and messenger. We clearly see an upward trend, showing that Packet Radio is regaining strong relevance.
Within our test and reference center, we carry out independent, practical, and long-term tests of radio technology. The results are published in detail and transparently on our website, making them available to the entire community.
As Yaesu is a worldwide leader in the amateur radio sector, we would very much like to evaluate and present your equipment in terms of its suitability for Packet Radio. Of particular value to us would be your support in the form of loan devices, long-term test units, or informational material that we could include in our independent testing.
